Future Her

Future Her is a dedicated initiative by SOC Communities Foundation CIC that supports girls and young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to build confidence, develop digital and AI skills, access higher education and unlock opportunities that can transform their lives.

Why This Matters

For many girls and young women, the path towards education and career success is often filled with challenges that are beyond their control.

These barriers can include: poverty and financial hardship, low confidence and self-belief,  limited access to positive role models, digital exclusion and lack of technology skills, risk of exploitation and grooming, social isolation and disadvantage and limited awareness of higher education and career pathways. Too often, talent goes unnoticed simply because opportunity is out of reach.

Future Her exists to change that.

We believe that every young woman deserves the chance to learn, grow and succeed regardless of her circumstances. By providing the right support at the right time, we help participants build brighter futures and develop the confidence to pursue goals they may never have thought possible.

Who We Support

Future Her is designed to support girls and young women who may face barriers to education, personal development or career progression.

Through the work of SOC Communities Foundation CIC, thousands of individuals have already benefited from education, mentoring and skills development programmes designed to improve lives and open doors.

Before joining Future Her, I didn't believe university was for someone like me. Through mentoring and support, I gained confidence, explored my options and successfully applied to study Computer Science. Future Her helped me believe in myself and my future.
